Bullseye Bill’s Frame Extender Baffles
I am wondering if there are any baffles that could be inserted into the framextender, much like the marauder configuration, to make it more effective. I have it on a talon frame with a maddog stock and 18 inch barrel with the hiflo valve from R&L Airguns. Would appreciate any info (i already know about drilling bushings and such, i just dont have the machinery to do it)

It took over two weeks for him to reply to me as well. But the shipping was prompt, so its all good on that part. I dont think he has a paypal option. I bet he would get a lot more business if he added that.
I have written emails to Bull’s Eye Bill for two weeks now but no answer. Does anyone know what is happening?. Is he on vacations or something else?. Thanks to you all I have a good idea who makes very good shrouds, my problem is that I’m on a real low budget and Bill’s frame extender is my only option now. Don’t really care if I get one empty shroud inside but with enough room to add some custom made baffles. I appreciate if any of you guys can point me to any other options like this one because I was trying to find out if Bill has a Paypal payment alternative, that is my only way to pay overseas.

Washers and grommets may work if you can find the right size.
As much as I would like to do that, I just don’t want to take the risk of damaging the gun in any way. And since I have the bullseye Bill Frame extender and not the R&L, i was really looking for drop in baffles. Thanks for all the info, if i ever spring for the R&L or Talontunes shroud, i will refer to this mod.
First, if you have the R & L shroud extender on the gun, then you know the front bushing is solid steel, with threads to screw his moderator onto, and does not allow air to go to the back of the shroud for rear venting.
Here’s what I did. Forget drilling that bushing…too hard. Instead, I got a Dremel chainsaw sharpening bit and ground out a “groove” on the [b] inside[/b] of the front bushing. It was a small groove, perhaps 1/4″ wide, but it allows plenty of air to get back into the rear of the shroud and when it hits the rear bushing it’s forced out the holes drilled in the bottom of the Talon shroud.
Nice thing about drilling the holes in the bottom of the shroud is the air venting into the inlet Maddog stock, which further quiets the air escape.
Just be patient when grinding the front bushing. Go easy and try to keep it as semi-cular as possible. There is still plenty of bushing metal grasping the barrel to do it’s job. I had no problems at all and it did help.
Bushings…Randy used a Marauder style “cup” insert, and with that design you need length to make it work. I found 12″ long was good. Holds more cups
If you can find a machinist on the TAG to mill you some K-baffles, then effeciency goes up a lot.
That did it for me, and it worked very well. If you have the money, GTBJ made me a silent moderator that worked great with the R & L front vented bushing.

PS: Spring for the “Extreme” valve in it and you will see what maximum performance is all about. I don’t know how it’s done, but that valve is as hot as any I’ve ever shot.

Well, no reply yet, I will try another one that has it for $69. Can’t pay more, only thing is that it will look polished and not dark as the gun, have to pay more for that.
