Q:

AirForce tool kit

I’m gonna get me a dedicated tool kit for my Talon SS. I’m would like to know what is the biggest and smallest allen wrench I will need in a set. Or maybe I should ask what sizes will need to work on my gun. Also wondering what you guys might have in you gun box as far as tools go?

I use these.

The wrench is made from tool steel so they don’t round the edge or the screw. I own a hobby shop and the guys in the service dept. use them every day. The average tip life before they have to be replaced, around $5.00 is about 6 – 8 months. The casual user will get five times that.

I’ve never had a problem removing screws with them.

I would also consider a couple of metric sizes. Some scope mounts use metric screws.

Allen wrenches metric
3.5mm
4mm

If you’re going to remove the valve on the bottle you will have to get one of these.

A VRT (valve removal tool) Jim Gaska model

Misc tools that might be handy…..

6” Crescent wrench
Small pliers
Needle nose

Get something quality, or you will wish you did.

Hope this helps.
