bought a FWB 124 in the pawn shop guys
15 bucks ,
badly rusted ,stock cracked , seal shot out. almost wanted to pass,
rebuilt with , NEW-“Old School” Arctic Super Duty kit 124-127
Finnish stock with tru oil, bluing with Orpho, brownells
I knocked the worst rust off with a wire wheel bench grinder before i ever took a pic, couldn’t stand it. it was mostly on the barrel .

its shooting 820 to 830’s way smooth, makes me not want to pick up the RWS guns again, now i need to get a scope on it 🙂

I havent bought mounts yet , i was already suppose to but forgot, i was just going to rob the scope and mounts off the M 48 to shoot the FWB . until i get rings. maybe get another scope, i have a bushnell 4x with paralex adjustment to 5 yards to put on it, but would like another with more power .

Very nice find and great job restoring her. What pellet are you hitting 830’s with?
Mine has considerable droop, be sure to get good mounts. Mine are years old Beeman mounts that came on the gun. The rear ring was .150″ higher than the front.
That is a great gun and you are very lucky to get it so cheap.
