New Airforce rifles

Im not sure if this pic represents the new trigger group or not, but at the very least I hope the new saftey doesnt engage the striker release at all!
In the original design a lot of the cocked hammer weight is being shifted from the safteyslide block to the sear when the saftey is disengaged.
Its like if I were holding a 10lb rock and you were holding a 10lb rock… (your name is “Sear” by the way) then someone kicked one of my legs out from under me 😯 10 more pounds coming your way mr. Sear hope your up to it. 😛

For me if the trigger is 2.5lbs and is crisp and predictable I will live with that small inconvience. Not to mention if there was that concern of a accidental discharge and this helps why not.

Engineering is a compromise. Mass production of a cheap gun is a compromise. I think I too would be willing to accept this compromise.
Well I wondered about that too but not a whole lot difference then having to drop the mag from an AR pull the charging handle to clear a round and dry fire it.

Could it be a false rumor or soon to announce the correction after the present overstock is cleared out 💡
Nah, who but us would fall for it ❓
I don’t know. But it may bring the value up on older models =)
This is just plain stupid! What does Airforce officially say about why they did this?
It just makes no sense.
What will happen if you are in a situation and can not discharge that last shot? Now you are forced to put away the gun cocked with a pellet in the barrel 🙄
Well I guess they thought that the safety wasn’t unsafe enough so they made the gun that much more dangerous =)
Now someone said it could be effectively uncocked by removing the air tank.
SHIT, that was easy before the spin lock tank.
Before it took less than one revolution to remove my tank.
Now my spin lock takes 3 1/2 revolutions.
Maybe it can be ordered with less threads in the spin lock collar ❗ 🙄
😆 😆 😆
Probably the only way they could make it to be sure the gun wouldn’t fire when the safety was released… 😉

I just can’t grasp how they could take away the ability to uncock the rifle given the nature of the design. Cocking knob sets hammer into locked position, pulling trigger disengages sear to release hammer which is attached to cocking knob.
T I have no doubt my friend! But that was one of pros and they took it away. AF has a hard time with customer preference.
COme one guys, we will figure it out. Or shall i say, “a way around it”.
