CO2 vs HPA tanks
Am I correct in saying that I can fill a hpa tank with CO2 but not a CO2 tank with 160bar hpa?
I bought a Talon type rifle in South Africa, second hand but the tank on it looks like a CO2 tank. The previous owner advised me to fill the tank only up to 160bar as the sweetspot starts there.
There is a lot of mixed opinions on local airrifle forums about the CO2 tanks and hpa usage in them.

From what I understand only 5 rifles (branded as Puma) were imported to be tested by African Outdoor Sports, a local supplier. They also sell the Buffalo River range in New Zealand and Australia. A big distributor of hunting accessories.
Well, I bought the rifle from a friend who were testing it for the company. They didn’t import any rifles besides the original 5, Stealth and Airforce were then available on our market although at a very high price.
I stripped the rifle yesterday, barrel etc. It’s is a copy as you say since its working on the same principle as the Talon, frame-riding hammer etc.
The biggest difference are the coupling where the tank screws onto the frame, I can basically remove the tank while it is still connected to the tophat section.
I checked the writing on the tank and the bottle is clearly designed for CO2, the test pressure only goes to 190bar 😯
I’m now looking for a safer tank, a real hpa tank. I will have to screw the CO2 pin-valve directly on the new tank due to the current design.

ps, I shot it at 35meters and the accuracy was perfect with the current barrel but hope to fit a smaller/shorter barrel in the future
