I bought a Seben mount and a Casio EXILIM EX-ZR100 camera
Bought the camera last night off of a Ebay auction and the mount last week. It is one of the Casio series of cameras that can capture slow motion.
I am hoping to capture the .9 second flight of the 257 108 grain bullet from muzzle to the 285 yard steel target in slow motion.
I hope to have it together by mid month, but I may have to wait for sunny conditions from what I have read.
I have no desire to start of blog like the excelent one Tofazfou created, not sure I even want to do Utube stuff, but I have some things I want to do for my own education of bullet flight, such as, shoot those heavy bullets with two different twist 257 TJ barrels and be able to capture the moment of stability decay from the 1-14 twist.
Contrary to current beliefs, I do get out often. 😛

Roachcreek

RC, thanks for taking the plunge with this. I’m sure a lot of us are really looking forward to seeing a good set up work well for you. I’d love to see some Ted style footage of your .257 shooting long distance, we’re probably all gonna learn a lot. Those bullets are going to show up really well on the high speed through that Casio.
