Q:

Kalibr Compact is here

Placed my order with Steve from TGAG on Monday and the mailman dropped if off yesterday. Shot about a dozen shots today just to get a feel. Its very backyard friendly but the Lelya is quieter. The rubber synthetic feel really nice as well and looks great.

I’ll bet that cheek weld piece would not be difficult to make by hand.

Isn’t it just a slip on cover over the breech? Even if it’s not, I’ll bet a dremel and wood chipper bit, followed by some sandpaper, could carve one out in an afternoon. Hold it in place with those tiny super magnets you get on line.

Perhaps the guys with the covers can give us some pictures and measurements to guide us with??? Please?

Kindest regards,

Now thats what I was looking for. I didn’t get the cheek piece either apparently they don’t make one for the black stock.

Spanish importer told in national forums that Kalibr only have the mechanical machine to make cheek piece in Russia, not in Czech RP that is our provider in Europe.

He compromised to serve it asap, I want believe it, because its my first option to buy it. 🙄

Can’t you replace that gauge with a better one with numbers?

It should be a screw-on replacement, and there are some very nice gauges out there.

If you have one connected to your fill hose, that would fit the Cricket, I can send you a larger gauge to replace the scuba fill gauge. 0-4000 psi and a very readable black on white face. It’s too big for the Kalibr, but real good for use on fill stations. Very accurate too.

Hi mates,

good news, last units sold in Spain arrive last week with new gauge and without check piece:

I have a gauge on my scuba tank as well so I’m good with filling.

With the color gauge I just don’t know how much air is left after shooting or when I need to refill. I’m looking into replacing it with the numbers gauge. But the only problem is I don’t know the size. I’m searching online but so far nothing.

And thanks for the offer

Yes the Kalibr is much more powerful. Great gun but could be perfect if they get rid of the color gauge and replace with numbers instead….like Edgun. As of now its a guessing game

Two magazines are included. A magazine cost about $40 a piece

Lelya is blast and very accurate. Bought it about 3 year ago and since then the Talon’s been sitting in the closet.

You done good ‘Yak!!!

Granted the Lelya is quieter, but I suspect the Kalibr is quite a bit more powerful.

The Lelya is a sweet piece of machinery, but it is a tiny pcp originally meant for .117 shooting, and it excells at that. It does a fine job with .22 caliber, but I doubt it matches up to a full pcp valved for power.

Let us know fps/fpe, as well as shot count. That would make a very nice truck gun.

PS: Do I understand right, that the four magazine holders are empty? You have to purchase the individual magazines seperately?

That looks sweet! How many shots per fill and what caliber? Also love the lelya , especially the fact you reshaped the stock so she feels more natural. Have to do mine

Its a .22. Don’t know how many shots per fill yet but hopefully I’ve sometime this week to test it out.

Thats an eye-pleasing trio right there.
