Q:

In search of Cricket Instruction Manual.

My Cricket was delivered this week and it’s a pleasure to shoot. However, it comes without any documentation … and I’m programmed to have some kind of paper instructions near me whenever I’m doing anything.

Been scouring the net for an instruction manual / parts list / diagrams, but without any luck so far.

I did find this video showing an x-ray of the cocking action, it’s quite cool:

Can anyopne point me to any cricket documentation?

When I went to “depositfiles.com” to down load a Cricket manual all the alarms and bells went off on my computer warning not to down load from this sight 😯 😯 Any you guys had any problems down loading the manual ❓ It also pisses me off when you go to a sight and they want to sell you something just to use their sight 😈

Sure would like a manual for my Cricket…. Hey Dima how about sending me one ❓ You have my address or could some one post the manual where we could get it safely. 🙄 🙄 Any and all help appreciated 😎

I decided to get the .22 standard in the bulldog stock. I already have thousands of .22 pellets and it should do everything I want.

Question about the manual. it says “When servicing the wooden parts of the air rifle (gun stock), do not use preparation for the furniture.”

what would you use on the wood stock?

I have only ever shot my .22 Cricket (classic stock, standard length), but I would imagine the .25 would feel almost exactly the same.

It’s very light and pointable.

I believe the .25 Cricket is louder, but everything is relative.

My .22 Cricket is much quieter than my .22 Talon SS (with the R&L shroud plus extra bafles and a vented bushing). I assume the .25 Cricket would also be quieter than my Talon SS, but that is an assumption.

I actually also considered a .25, but convinced myself that:
> .22 pellets are easier to get and less expensive.
> I would get more shots from one fill.
> If I need a little more FPE I can increase the power and use super-heavy .22 pellets.
> Gun is a little quiter

thanks for the input, i’m pretty much sold but have to make up my mind if I want a .22 or .25. I plan on shooting between 50 and 100 yards. All tho i’ve heard they both will do what I want. I really could use a comparison between the two. not only shooting but feel.

nalby / Jim;

If you’re thinking of a Cricket … I love mine (.22 standard)!

I know it is not a fair comparison, but compared to my Talon SS .22 with shroud, the Cricket is a scalpal compared to a bowie knife.

It is amazing (size / pintability, quietness, and the trigger is perfect for me). The documentation doesn’t do it justice.

I really am happy with it, an the service and speed of delivery from Dima was excellent. I think I received it just 4 day after purchasing.

Thank you kalibrgunusa

Tarzan maybe you could share that with the rest of us? I don’t really need it but it would be interesting to look over.

Thinking of getting a cricket. A preview of the manual would help in my decision.

Thank you very much kalibrgunusa!

Received the document via email today.

I appreciate the excellent customer service.

I’d request it from the dealer you’ve purchased it from 🙂
Email me and I’d get you one.
