Q:

sound

Just got a spinloc hi-flow and one thing i notice is that the origanal tank on the taolp is alot louder. Just wondering if the valve is different.

I have and R&L shroud on the 18″ talonss and a TT shroud on the talonp. the air tankfrom the talon P is way louder on both gun vs the spinloc. both .25 same pellets just different barrel lengths.

OK thank you for all your help.

So from this newbees mind I could install that on my standard tank and have another high-flow.

I can’t help you with that one. I’ve never had a CO2 adapter. I’m sure some of the other guys on this forum can help you with that. You might also try searching the forum and try to find an answer to your question.

OK so there is a bigger difference then. What valve does the co2 adapter have in it?

If I’m not mistaken the CO2 adapter uses a High-Flow valve.

I just noticed that I said High-Flow in my post but the TalonP valve is called a Direct-Flow and it is very different from the High-Flow Condor valve. That would possible explain the difference in sound. The Direct-Flow valve was designed to give 50+ fpe from the small 13ci tank and a 12″ barrel. My Direct-Flow valve with an 18″ barrel is producing 80+ fpe. I believe the Direct-Flow valve is more powerful than the High-Flow valve.

The spinloc tank that I bought is a 22ci for the condor I be live not the talonp. Its a full size high flow. But the small tank for the talonp is the one making the sharp noise. I am wondering if the valve in the small tank is different.

The other thing that I was wondering is if I took out the valve from the co2 adapter and installed that into my standard talonss tank would that give me a hi-flow tank then? The top hats look the same.

That’s interesting. As far as I know the spin-loc valve and the regular valve are the same IF the spin-loc is a Direct-Flow TalonP valve. The only difference is the valve body on the spin-loc has been drilled and tapped for the foster fitting and pressure gauge.

If you have a chrony it would be interesting to see if there are any velocity differences between the two valves.
