Need A Regulator
I was finally able to chrono my TSS and found that with my PW set to the max, I did not overcome valve lock until the pressure dropped to around 1800 PSI.
When my wallet allows, I want to get a good regulator. I know JDSAirguns has them, but who else produces a good regulator that is suitable for a TSS?

Khilji, why so fast? A diabolo pellet does not like supersonic or transonic velocities.
That power level is what mine is putting out now. I am wanting a regulator to increase the number of shots. My valve, hammer and spring setup that I have at present overcomes valve lock at around 1800 PSI. With a regulator set at that pressure and the tank filled to 3000 PSI, I will be able to shoot all day, or at least until I am tired of shooting.
What is it kicking them out at now?
i want to set my talon to 1150fpswith 15.4 grain pellets on how much psi I can achive the siad velocity
Anything I can do to give back here. I have learned a great deal regarding these rifles, and the people here are some of the best around. Doesn’t hurt that they are entertaining as hell either.

rualert, thanks for thr great information. I’m going to do it with the 12″ barrel but I don’t own a 18″. I hear really good things about talonp and the 18″.. I thought maybe someone had some formula that I can take from the data from the 12″ barrel and apply it to 18″. That excel spreadsheet would be great for gathering all the data.

I just happened to have a bottle which is also used on a Crosman build. What I did find was that even with the un-regulated Talon bottle, it only shot about 100 FPS faster than the regulated one. One tell was the noise / sound, when I let the Talon bottle fall into the 1600-1900 PSI range the gun got considerably quieter. This may be a good place to start, fill to say 2K – 2.4K then shoot it over your Chrony to see where the sweet spot is. I use an Excel spreadsheet to keep track of the shot strings, averages, power, SD. You get the idea, use the bottle you have to find out where to regulate it. I’m trying regulate my talonp, are they any formula to find out what the best way to go. I want to try with a 12″ and 18″ barrels and different tank sizes for best shot count. I would like to just punch numbers in and figure out what works for me. So I don’t waste money on thing that won’t work.

What is your output pressure, caliber and barrel lenght?
I’m running 1400PSI out of a 18″ barrel, and it works pretty good.
I have use my CO2 adapter with paintball HPA tanks for the past year with very good results. They have the foster, and a gauge, could be another potential route?

The one that doug built for me had a gauge and a foster fitting. The altros also has both.
I have an altos reg it’s adjustable very good have a look in gallery for my post I’m doing in the next few days or so a good test with pics
Altaros regulator have gauge and Foster fitting. It is just bolt on piece. Nothing extra needed.
I have one in .22 Condor (SSS in fact but any way). I like it!
