Those Benchmark Barrels are putting down some respectable numbers in the Air gun Bench-rest shoots! 😉

Benchmark offers a taper lapped ‘Tight’ bore 22RF for shooting pellets.
Check into that I suppose…..

The big problem with 22 rimfire barrels is that the groves are much deeper and therefore allow too much air to escape to be efficient. Best case would be the Marlin micro-grove barrels but even then you would lose a large amount of air.

Many have tried, never heard of it working out well.

I have been asking for years about this. Seems to me a .22 RF bbl. would be a good candidate for shooting .22 bullets. They are now easy to get. 😉

Would love to see a test with them in a .22 RF bbl. put in a Condor. 😀

Just about any barrel can be machined to fit most airguns.

The question is finding the right ammo for your new barrel.

As stated above, a rimfire barrel is a different bore that a 22 pellet rifle. But if you have a readily available source of 222-223-224″ sized bullets, i don’t see why it wouldnt work.

It is my understanding that a .22 rimfire barrel is .223 diameter and an airgun barrel is .217. I thought about that a short while back myself and a barrel supplier informed me of such.
