I noted a posting on the Yellow where a member was proudly advocating his new Rainstorm II.
Granted it is a nice looking powerhouse carbine from Evanix. However, his had a hairline fracture in the hand grip. Interestingly, so did the one I ordered, as has several other buyers. All were sent back to the dealer.
I’m amazed this problem still exists. Evanix can make that grip a bit thicker and likely resolve the problem. It’s minor, but one that will send guns back to the dealer in a heartbeat.
I liked the RS II because it was light, short, powerful, and had a nice side lever cocking mechanism. The magazine worked very well. It was loud, but that can be corrected by the owner.
Evanix has a wide product selection. But their quality control seems lacking. Several of their models have had “issues”. Some have been fixed, some still exist, and only time will tell if they hold up with use. A good indicator is the Classified ads….I have not noted any Evanix rifles for sale by owner. I don’t know if that’s because, once straightened out they perform well, or whether there are not that many Evanix owners in the market yet to show an impact.
Any input from our Evanix owners?

Update. My .25 RS2 has a bolt down the center of the grip. Probably why it hasn’t broken. Not sure if Evanix or PA did it. Also there is no double load safety feature on the RS2 mag. So be careful.
Dunno…own a .25 Max, never had any issues with it other than the ugly factor
maybe I’m just lucky
been the same experience with my FX Monsoon and Revolution…not a problem yet there are those who claim both FX self loaders have serious issues..
