Q:

I’ve had a little time to play with .25 cricket bulldog…

and so far, I’m loving this gun! Mine came shooting a little hot, throwing JSB kings at a whopping 956-958 and Barracudas at 903-908. Here’s the catcher…it’s accurate! I sighted it in at 20 yrds or so and it’s a laser out to 50 yrds. I managed at least a 1inch group at 65yrds with left to right winds. I think that great for the first time out learning a new piece. I was able to knock 16 ounce bottles off at 85 yrds with very little effort. Just the other day I managed to hit a 2inch target multiple times at 120 yrds from a knee rest position shooting Barracudas. I know eventually i will turn it down a bit, right now I’m enjoying how hard it hits.

Is the Edgun “Bulldog” a larger version of the Edgun “Bullpup”???

Just curious.

Actually not curious at all….just can’t pass up an opportunity to yank someone’s crank!

Yes, they start out as pups and after owning them for 18 months they turn into dogs; hence bullpup & bulldog. Of course you can circumvent the ‘pup’ days by purchasing a preowned dog whereby avoiding all the issues associated with owning a pup but you won’t have the time with your new pup to train him as your own into a fine show dog. Hope that helps clarify the issue.

How’s that you old crank wanker!

From reading in this forum…. seems like there is mixed result from the .25 Cricket. Some are getting:

48 shots from 200b to 100b 25g@ 950ish?
60 shots from 270b to 120b 25g@ xxx
60 shots from 250b to 120b 25g@ 840ish?

very questionable for the 48s from 200b to 100b @ 950 ish? air consumption wise it look like it’s performing better than the Edgun .25 standard.

those who owns Cricket……more string shots please…

25 cal Cricket – 270 down to 120, I was getting 5 mags or 60 shots. Plinking at 50-60 yards was deadly.

How fast is your gun shooting? I’ll have to try the higher fill and see what happens. I was told that the higher fill didn’t net you much of a difference. However, it is worth trying.

I have no clue at the moment but I plan to chrony it next weekend. 😀

In velocity, or number of shots? Velocity, No! It’s regged. Number of shots? Oh hell yes! 😀

How many shots are you getting on a fill?

I haven’t had chance to chrony the string. I shoot 4 mags from a 200 bar fill and it reads right at 100 bar.

How many shots are you getting on a fill?
