ADDED A HAIR CURLER INSIDE SHROUD CUT SOUND IN HALF!
I been trying to get more machined baffles for my shroud but everyone is too busy so I added a hair curler inside the end of shroud so it added around 2 1/2 inches space before pellet exit shroud. Plus it pushed baffles I had already closer to barrel. It worked kick ass. My neighbors can still hear me but not as much plus the birds usually come back within minutes. Any more advice on what I can do to shroud to make quieter? Almost there!

Arrange it so that you have one baffle close to the muzzle, and then the large space, rather than close to the exit! 😉

By venting the shroud near the rear…you reduce psi exiting at the front. This means less sound at the muzzle.
Drill the vent holes at the bottom of the shroud. Four to six will do it. Just be certain the vents are not blocked by the barrel bushing. The front bushing has to be drilled so air can escape to the back of the shroud, if it is an AF product. Do a search on “Venting the shroud” and there are plenty of pics and advice on how to do this.
Other air gun shrouds…well it depends on how they are made, and whether they are vented to the rear of the shroud.
Whatever you can do to lower the pressure at the front of the shroud will have a meaningful effect on sound at the muzzle.
