My name is Tim and I’m brand spanking new to air guns and I’ve got a humdinger of a rifle coming in from Tony at TT.
It is a Condor .25 with an 18″barrel, TTTA, Moderator and to be honest 1-2 other parts that I went off of Tony’s recommendation that I can’t recall exactly what they were.
I would certainly appreciate any input form experienced AF rifle owners about recommendations to add to my rifle before it is ready to leave Tony’s care.
Anyways, I’d like to introduce myself and try and become part of your group round here so I can learn as much as possible about the AF rifles. They sure are appealing to newcomers and although patience is my strong suit, boy o boy, I cant really wait to be holding my very own Condor. as a 40 y/o man I cant remember being this excited for anything in a long time.

Thanks fellas, it’s nice to be here. I’ve searched around just about everywhere and i have learned a TON of things about these Condors.
I really cant wait to bring the TT Condor out with me to the property. We are hunting hogs right now and we have about a million squirrels that take to eating plenty of the corn we put out. I plan on violating them a bit.
on a far more serious note, and the real reason I bought this rifle is I have a few colonies of rats around my neighborhood and one in my neighbors old wood pile that joins my place. They come on my side every night and I’ve had some get in the attic which will drive a man to set out on acquiring the best damn air rifle money can buy. I’m happy I called Tony.
I track these rats with an MSA thermal imaging camera which I was lucky enough to get a demo(about 90% off the retail) from the sales rep when he was in town showing us the new Evolution 5200 cameras to the departments. I’ve got their habits down and where they will be so I’m just waiting on the rifle to arrive so I can get to work.
The list of Mod’s is not to extensive bc I was really only looking for sound suppression but I went a bit further off of Tony’s recommendations

I did not talk to him about tuning the Condor. Not sure if it will happen bc I think he will have it tore down to create it but I dont know. He’s sounds busy and I’m not the type to call or hassle him with a bunch of questions. I know we will talk soon and I planned to have all my research done on my end of the final little tweaks with grips and stocks and all.
Can I ask y’all if a tune up is imperative? The o-ring and all that comes with it? or does anyone know if Tony does anything special for folks that buy a rifle straight from him? After a 5 min phone call I made the decision to trust that guy. I feel good about it b/c I think this is his forum too which I had no idea of. I just fell damn good about this whole thing so far. I’ll feel damn GREAT after my first bit of lead I squeeze through it:)

I love my new TT AAA .25 Condor ❗
You might ask Tony for a list of mods you ordered as to avoid duplication.
I just made it to the range with mine for the first time Monday.
It was 25 degrees F. so only got off 5 shots before the guys started asking questions. Wish I had some business cards from Tony.
The range here has some rule against silencers so not to ruffle up the other old timers , I left the airgun moderator off mine. Man does it sound sweet without earmuffs or plugs ❗
You will want a lot of pellets and some Black Mambas
welcome aboard. I’m sure Tony advised you best on what you will need. I still remember the day I opened my condor that he put together. It surely was like Christmas. Enjoy! 😎

Thanks man, I really dont have any idea yet. I believe you about xmas all in one. I’ve had a Gamo big cat but I never did more than break the barrel to reload it.
I remembered the top hat is the other mod
I’ll be milling around looking for advice on grips and refill methods.
Boy you have no idea what you are getting into. Its better than all the previous Christmases combined when you get a package from Tony. Welcome to the dark side as they call it.

A TalonTunes gun? Just shoot it. I wouldn’t do anything to it for quite a while. I haven’t heard of anyone disappointed with his guns.
I have rats also, that’s how I came to own my .22 TSS. I eliminate mine at just 24 feet, so I don’t feel the need soup it up anymore than it is. I use peanut butter to attract them to a safe backstop where I blast them. I use a Harbor Freight driveway sensor to let me know when they are in position; I don’t like waiting for them.
