I’ve shot a few thousand pellets through my FX Royale, and killed over a wheelbarrow of squirrels. With a regulator set up for Kings .25, I have no complaints. Dime sized holes at 40 yds, with unsorted pellets, are the norm. With the single-shot tray and sorting pellets, you’d likely get squirrel-eye accuracy at 40 yds, for 80 shots or so.
No repairs so far. Just treat it like a rifle, don’t rest-shoot pressing the barrel; use the hand rests for support.
My only complaint is that when I blast a nutter, it often sounds like I missed … “Crack!” the sound of pellet hitting wood instead of flesh. Yep, hit the tree alright, after blowing a neat hole completely through the squirrel, which drops shortly 😀
And the guns are, as the esteemed Elmer Fudd would say, “vewee vewee quiet”.
Steve, I don’town one. But have several freinds who do. One in particular has a trantula 2000 that is probably 15-20 years old. I love shooting that gun!
It is a beautiful gun, Much better looking than anything they (FX) makes now. And it is a shooter! Light, slender stock, schnabel forend. Wish I did own it. Love the way it shoots!
Have several friends that have 400 and 5oo’s. Very nice! 😀

Oh, I wouldn’t say they are THAT ugly. But for what they cost, I would likely get a Cricket or Edgun.
KM, which FX guns do you own? How long have you had them, or how many pellets do you think you have put through them?

I own a LOGUN SOLO made by FX. Wouldn’t trade it for nothing. Its a keeper.
I’ve since then shot plenty FX guns and have always been impressed with them.
I’ve shot AZ Rapids and my own rapid and a Rapid that i’ve fully tuned. I’ve been impressed with all of them.
The only difference between the two is the weight. The Rapid is a heavy gun but its built like a tank. The FX is built just fine but it’s much lighter soooooooo.
I honestly think the FX bullpups are BUTT FUCKING UGLY and the CRICKET and EDGUN are much nicer looking……….HANDSDOWN!
The Indy bullpup would be ideal. All you need to carry is pellets

Tough as a Rapid, well no. Everybody and their buddy bitches about how heavy the Rapid is. And some one goes and addressed the issues, and bam, —-It must not be tough enough. It doesn’t weigh a ton! 👿
Ultra Accurate, Light, east to work on, good warranty.
biggest draw back. Not quite as tough as a Rapid. You can hit your intended target just fine with them, but beating the downed game animal with the gun to finish it off is not recommended.
But as the FX guns are so accurate, the beating of the downed animal should not be needed. Unless there IS an accuracy issue.
If so, may I recommend a little more practice? 😉

I would love to have an Independance or this new Indy, but the price tag always makes me choke.

my monsoon lost 4-6 fpe top power over the course of 500 pellets, my buddy’s monsoon is punching 2 mags out at 930-940fps real steady

So what’s with FX guns? Are they durable top performers?…or are they problem children that will sooner or later need expensive and time consuming repairs? I keep getting mixed reviews. Hmmm.
