BSA Ultra…what can you tell me about it….
Is it worth owning? Does BSA even sell it anymore?
It looks like it would fit the bill for my casual shooting, but I want to be able to get replacement parts, if needed.
Is this trouble waiting to happen, or is it reliable and long lasting?

Does it have a shroud? They can be very loud! The old magazines can be a real pain in the butt. The newer mags haven’t given me any problems in my Sportsman HV.
It appears to have a 75cc reservior. That’s just 10cc’s more than the P-rod. The gun is very sexy. 😉

Yes… worth owning. They are great little guns. Some folks have issue with the MMC cocking on it, but it’s really not a big deal.
I know which you are asking about and if you look at a chrony string that Darryl posted, that gun is shooting better than most Ultra’s.
I had a BB version and sold it only because I prefer the short barrel with the LDC… and if his were that, I’d have already snagged it.
Spare parts… yeah, that could be an issue, but I’ve heard that they will be imported again. The magazines tend to be quirky on them… that’s a fact.. but they use the same mags as the Hornet’s so they are available.
