Q:

Jack Haley is very ill

He has been hit with Pneumonia, Shingles and now an intestinal disorder.

At the present itme he can’t get out of a chair without help.

He asks everyones patience who has ordered a rifle and fully aware of his committment to you and will fulfill it as soon as he can work again.

“To all of our airgun friends who answered the call for help by Roachcreek by contributing money, prayers, well wishes, phone calls, and personal visits, I just want you to know how ya’ll have made us feel and how grateful we are for the support and outpouring of love and kindness. It really did alot for Jack’s morale and has kept his spirits soaring high that he is going to defeat this and win the battle. There is not enough words to express what a vast relief it gave me when I was wallowing in a whirlpool of neverending “what am I going to do’s”. If I never realized it before —-I do now what a wonderful caring group of people are associated with the brotherhood of the airgun world. Once again we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Airgunners really rock when one of their own needs them Reba and Jack Haley”

good work RC and all the other air gunners that helped them out 😎

Just posted over on AAHF

“To let everyone know Jack is in the University Hospital in Jackson Ms He had a major biopsy this morning on the lung mass and will start chemo in the morning for 4 every two week visits then radiation and then hopefully will be able to withstand the surgery to remove the right lung Once again requesting the prayers that have kept us going and lifted up Thanks Reba”

Best wishes to and for Jack.

🙁

Yes, Jack is a consciencious person, so and the though of unfinshed business in the shop is tearing him up, but he will back, and those orders will get filled I have no doubt.

RC

Oh! 😯 I thought he had the surgery. 😕

He should definitely not be back in the shop. 🙁

Having orders just siting there must be tearing him apart if he tried to go back to work. 🙁

Well, I hope he continues to get his energy level up.

Wow, they have a long harsh road ahead. But they are both strong people and I hope and pray they have strong faith as well! God speed Jack!

It still is ugly.

Jack has not had surgery or any treatment yet, he is far too weak.

The tumor has grown into and around two ribs and is a very large mass, the pain is terrible and the meds do not address it.

The hope is to get him well enough to survive chemo and shrink the tumor enough to get him strong enough to survive surgery.

Jack is a fighter and Reba is a nurse par excellence and they will get it done, it just takes time.

RC

Rehab after surgery is important. I’ve been there and tried to get things back to normal far too quickly.

Great to hear he is feeling better. Sure did sound ugly for a while. 😯

Reba needs to chain him to the coach 😯

It’s good he’s moving but bad that he’s trying to get in the shop.

That’s good to hear he is moving around.

…otta change the locks on that shop. 😉

I talked with reba and Jack yesterday, she says he is eating enough food for two people, which is good, he is still hurting bad tho.

Then I talked to John Bowman today and he said Jack went out in the shop to try and get some stuff done and it just about did him in.

RC

How’s Jack doing RC?

That’s good news. May he heal quickly!
