Joe Brancato 1/8 bspp w/quick disconnect (NO leak)
Hello all-
Just want to let you guys know that I received JB 1/8 bspp with quick disconnect adapter for my Edgun. He send me with 5 derlins for $10+shipping deal. In return I am his lab mice to see how many derlins needed to make it work properly without having any leak.
Since some of you guys said it still leak with (1) derlin… so I started with (2) derlins. I also wrapped with teflon tape until I almost cannot see the thread on my Edgun fill probe. With (2) derlins inserted and teflon wrapped, I screw the two together until it’s almost flushed. The gap between the Edgun fill probe nad JB 1/8bspp adapter is less than 1mm.
Filled my Edgun for the “first” time to 220bar and there is NO leak at all.
Hope it help out for some of you guys that still have leaks with the adapter.

Well before it was determined that the dowty seal didn’t work with the EdGun probe it was $25 for the adapter…
I did notice that Joe had removed the price recently from his website. He now has no prices for the fill adapters. Drives me nuts to see things without prices on the web. Kind of like the new style search results where you don’t actually see the results so you have to click the link so they get paid…
I usually don’t buy from businesses that don’t post prices on their websites. 👿

Did you get the adapter and the 5 delrin seals for $10 or just the seals?
I didn’t have an issue with my PA adapter either and the price was right. I have bought from Joe before, great stuff but it can be severely overpriced.
Not sure why the person testing the delrin seals would have to pay for them…
IMO anyone who bought what he advertises as his EdGun fill adapter and it didn’t work should get a free delrin seat (or two for the hassle).
If not i’d return it and buy TWO from PA for the same price. 😕
I received the Air Venturi adapter from Pyramyd that finally came into stock for $10. It does NOT leak and no teflon tape is necessary. The single delrin seal they give you is about 1/4″ long or so.
Whew, I was going to ask, What The Hell is Derlin??? 😯 😕 😆
I bet you could use no delrin bushings with that much teflon tape… 😉

$20 for an adapter that leaks is taking it in the ying yang. :whoop: $10 more for delrin seal to fix it would be insane. :banghead:
