Q:

Breach not Sealing

I have a leak from the o-ring that seals on the barrel. I replaced the o-ring and it still leaks. It looks like the o-ring groove is too deep. The o-ring hardly sticks above the breach ID. It is not very snug on the barrel. I can feel air escape from the frame at the power adjuster. This is a fluted breach from that came from Tony. (When he built the gun) I have installed a new threaded top hat and I feel the air leak even dry firing. The o-ring I am using is 7/16 x 5/16 x 1/16. I matched the one I removed from the breach. Any ideas? Should I order a new breach?

Thanks Dayotat.

You nailed it!

Thanks Dayotat, I’ll remove the moderator and see if it makes any difference.

Do you have a shroud on the gun?

If you do the air you might be feeling is the air coming back from the shroud.

I had this problem and could actually watch the power wheel move towards the hammer when you fired the gun.

I put a o ring on the bushing to stop it.

try a thicker oring lol if not then buy a new breach
