Q:

First baffle distance from end of barrel?

What is the best distance from the end of barrel to the first baffle? Should the first baffle have any holes other then the center one for pellet?

Don’t know that one..but can give advice.

Stagger your baffles..in other words make them diff spacing between.

ex…3/4″ 5/8″ 1/2″…big space..1.5″ 1/2″..ect..

Something to do with sound harmonics…stagger the spacing.

I think a bigger chamber at the muzzle to handle the pressure followed by two smaller chambers. Use a rubber fender washer on the back side of the steel fender washer. Backside meaning facing away from the direct pressure blast.

Also add a rubber washer behind your top hat to minimize wasted air.

This combination of internal baffle and top hat washer is cheap, convenient, and quiet.
