Q:

Matador R3 vs R3.5

What are the differences from the R3 to the R3.5…I know the bold and housing are aluminum and stainless steel…but is that the only differences?..
My cousin got a R3 from the first shipment sometime in feb and mine was in the march shipment and his trigger has 2 adjustment screws and mine only
Has 1….now is his matador a R3 and mine a 3.5?….any info would be appreciated.

Theyre all R3s. You have most recent R3 with trigger.
My R3 25 has updated breech and regulator but still double trigger.
My R3 22 from last yr has old style reg, breech and trigger.

Yea I read the other thread there Ed says its still an r3….and I have the latest R3 with all the latest upgrades you mentioned…I must say tho, me and my cousin were shooting yesterday and my trigger is MUCH more easier and smoother to pull than his…he tried my gun and accidently pulled the trigger without wanting to because he’s use to his trigger which requires a bit up pressure

It is still an R3, but the newer ones have some small improvements such as more efficient regulator, Aluminum breech and slightly redesigned trigger allowing adjustment with just one screw.

I have a latest R3 standard in .22 coming next week so I will be able to check out all the latest updates on it.
