Getting near a year and a half.Seems even more ridiculous with easy
access of the Krickets.If you write anything about Tony or the list its
poor Tony well he`s mistaken which gun I wanted after 2 confirmations.

I guess basically I was having a bad day,but after seeing so many get their
rifles?After a year Tony sent me an e-mail saying I have you down for a
.22 std,I have a .22 std 2.5 I ordered a long.I`ve been shooting benchrest
mainly because I can`t shoot in the large yard and and large lot thanks
to ill ifnformed neighbors.I joined Holbrook Spotsmans club but there 99%
PB`s and don`t really enjoy it as much.I had Dan Brown work on my
.22m-rod w/lw and it shot a 246,248,249 first time out.I`m not sure BR
is my thing though.I like the guys and you won`t find better competition.
I guess I miss shooting in treed land.Well after 14mos I did tell Tony I
wanted a .25 Long.From what I`ve read the Edgun .25 is a little more
powerful.Wouldn`t mind trying a Cricket though.

Not Sure what happened with Mark6869…as for my situation I just
think I got over looked. Either way I waited well over 1 1/2 years !!!! In the
Last 2 shipments there looks to have been a Large Number of Guns delivered.
GOOD for US!!!….. In fact there were “Extra Guns” Shipped.
A friend of mine was interested in buying my R3 .25. (not sure why he thought I wanted to sell it. Sold one to a good friend many years ago because I had 2 and he had none!!!….That ain’t gonna happen again ?@#?$?@?#) I had read that the Second shipment had arrived, so I suggested he contact Tony and see if there were any left over guns…….. He lucked out and only had to wait 2 weeks!!!!!!
I can honesty say I took advantage of the “EXTRA GUNS” and had him order me a R3 .22 Standard…. It will be here FRIDAY…. HAPPY EDGUN TO ME !!!!!! (AGAIN!!!!!)
I had been in touch with one of the “EDGUN Sellers” on the yellow and was willing to pay Extra not to have to wait 18 months….But I got lucky!!!!
(Also saved myself between $400 and $500 Bucks….I can make more money…..I can’t make an Edgun…..beside I still have some body fluids left)
Now…..just gotta wait for the Multi-shot Kits……and MAYBE A .30 …..PLEASE…PLEASE….PLEASE…..PLEASE…!!!!!!!!

I second Fast and Dangers sediments, there is no arm twisting going on here. Makes for opportunity for those who choose not to wait. Makes no never mind to me and also respect those who choose to pass the savings on to another air gun brother. It’s all good.

I was in both shoes. I bought them overpriced and I sold them overpriced too. Did I regret it? No. Did I laugh at a buyer who paid high price? No.
Did you see any one cry after they bought Crickets for $1950 and then they dropped to $1600? No. ( I was one of them ) That was the price to be the first kid on the block with Brand new to US rifle.

As to your modern vehicle reference there are many low production vehicles with wait lists that sell for more than retail when the early models are released…
There are countless situations in retail that are similar to the EdGun. It is what happens in a free market. Demand allows the price to fluctuate. Setting prices against demand negates a free market and is typically done in communist and socialist controlled markets to make it “fair” to everyone.
Good thing do come to those who wait. Good things can also come to those willing to pay a little more to wait less…

I got my R3 22 long in last yrs March shipment after a 3 month wait.
I just picked up a R3 25 long (new breech/reg) from VarmitAir who just got it a month ago. He has other things to do so he sold it for basically what he paid. I wasn’t looking to get a 25 as I’m waiting for 9mm. But after seeing 25 pellet downrange out of other guns I’m impressed with its performance.
So I jumped on deal. He could have sold for more but opted to give us Edguners a straight price. I myself will probably be handing over my 22 long to my buddy for what I have into it as well. I have no problem making profit on anything, but I’d rather sell to someone whom I know will love and use it as I would instead of just a quick buck.

The 25 is quite a bit more powerful. I’ve got one (long version)with new reg and its getting 70 regged shots with JSB 25 grainers at 930fps average. 120yd groups are sub 2″ off bipod(hunting conditions). Can’t wait to get it on a Bench and stretch it out to 200.
