Q:

Trigger not fire,please help

Hi,

I have a big problem today. I have talon ss. I pulled the trigger and not fired, nothing happen. then I recock it, it fired. It’s first time.
a couple of shots later, it happened again, and I need to recock twice to fire.

Have this happened to anybody? and how to fix it?

Airforce let me send it back, but I want to see if I can fix it myself.

Thanks

Charlie

My talon ss trigger seems OK now. Before I take it apart, I tried W-40 on hammer and trigger group. The problem seems OK now. I dropped some gun oil on hammer area a week ago, I guess the oil got sticky on spring or moving parts.

on one of my guns yes, on the other no

Thanks.

I have not done anything on trigger?

I’ll try to stretch the spring when I take it apart.

Have you had the problem again after you removed the safety?
Thanks

Give the spring under the latch bar a bit of a wee stretch and check it then. Sometimes it needs a bit more of spring pressure

I have experienced that issue a few times before, but I have also modified my triggers… usually they can be reset by either pointing the gun down and pushing the breech open again or pointing it up, I Know that I can’t hold my gun up and “uncock” my gun, it must be pointed down. But mine also has the safety removed. sometimes it is something as simple as that.

Have you done any modification to the trigger group? If so what?

It may happen that the safety doesn’t set properly if you don’t cock the gun completely, the breach slide must go all the way to a positive stop. If the safety isn’t completely set it won’t toggle off properly either.
