My new R3 Std finally here! Amazing! Pics inside. News.
Well after a long wait my R3 Std 22 is here.
And all the latest improvements are amazing!
New aluminum breech with ss bolt, more efficient regulator and my favorite is Improved Trigger! This thing is so buttery smooth! It is so smooth that I when I made a first shot it fired before I was ready for it. I am used to old edgun trigger and this new one is a Huge step over the old one.
Beautiful and uniform black coating on metal and a amazing darker wood stock with awesome grain and details on it.
Now it will live happily with its little sister Lelya and little brother Veles and or course a cousin Cricket. 😈
And some eye candy for you guys.

I spoke to Tony today and he DOES have R3 22 Standards and R3 22 Shorts IN STOCK for immediate sale with NO wait!
I think this is great news since I have waited for Over a year for my R3 Standard.

I got mine because Ed told me he shipped more than Tony ordered – not cancellations.
Must be the “Cricket” effect already. I paid $1950 + $70 S + $16 I for a Std .25. Its in my town at the UPS center already and I ordered it three days ago. I seriously never thought I would get to own one a week ago.

If you have been following threads closely, you can find where Ed is saying that next shipment will not be anytime soon.
Tony filled the orders for all Std and Short 22 R3 and have few left. Most likely the guys that where on the list and then flaked out for one reason or another. That is why there is some R3 Madators available for purchase Right Now.
And whoever gets them now are VERY lucky to get them without wait. (I had to wait for over a year for mine, but its worth the wait)
There is still line on all 25 cal R3.

Yea that actually sucks to hear…I waited over a year for my matador and now all of a sudden tony is overstocked
I think it is 1950 plus 40-100 for shipping (depends where you are and if you want insurance).
whats the out-the-door-cost on the matadors now? if u dont mind my asking.
my talon ss needs a companion in the safe and the edgun will fit the bill nicely.

Luck and the Crickets have increased the supply of quality bullpups in the US market reducing the Edgun frenzy a bit. Many folks have given up on Edguns and opted for Crickets because they didn’t want to wait. These spares would have been scooped up faster. Eventually, there may be some downward pricing pressure. KalibrGun is now manufacturing upwards of 500 Crickets per month shipped worldwide. The US high-end bullpup market will saturate.
I hope the stock on my .25 std coming on MOnday looks as nice as yours.
