Anyone with a CZ200s Red Lam? I just picked one up
I Traded for an RWS34P a few weeks ago. I installed a vortek kit and did a full tune on the gun. It was an accurate shooter but I find now I have a shoebox I dont like springers LOL
Well I have been infested with blackbirds and sparrows around here lately and My Haley .308 is a bit much gun for them
I have my Bam 51 in .25 but still at 60 FPE too much gun for my 8 yard birdfeeder.
I picked up a CZ 200s with the Red Lam stock in .177
It is shooting 10.3 Grain JSB at 840 FPS
I think this will make a goo birdfeeder gun as well as a Cheap Plinker.
The snow is finally almost gone here so I can get out next week with my haley .308 and shoot some bullet Rj cast for me.
This winter has been a long one here. In fact I am going Ice fishing weds and thursday this week!!! LOL
This is by far the latest I have ever Ice fished but there is still 15 ” ice and lakers are hitting hard!
Anyways back to the gun
Anyone have one of these? Good guns?
All my research show all posative in fact I dont think I found any negative posts on this gun.

I have had the same trouble with bullet molds causing the same financial trouble over the years.
I recently actually sold and gave away 7 or 8 tins of 18 grain Exacts, it saved me close to 2 K the way I figure it.

Yeah I had a tin of cphp from Walmart. Shot 10 shot 1-1/4 inch group at 40 yards. Seemed like I had to force them to chamber probably the repeating action. Feeds jsb and air arms pellets really smooth, with slightly better accuracy then the crossmans, but I stopped shoting the crossmans after 10 shots so I really can’t compare. Those .22 cal cz barrels might be tight and mix that with a hard pellet might be the cause? I’m going to play it safe and stick with the jsb for now, hate to put a lot of wear on her innards 😀
i tried the cp’s in the tin from walmart in mine and they shoot just as tight and almost same poi as the JSBs I am happy since i can pick em up at walmart plus get my employee discount on em!
Yeah I may need a .177 s200 like yourn crow.like to have a benchrest gun that .177 with t-36 might do it. Any of you guys try crossman pellets in a s200? Seem to chamber really hard in mine quit shooting them after a mag thought it might be hard on the bolt o-ring and the plastic bolt handle.
Sometime I can resist it, but not often.
I had a bag of 22-250 Ackley improved brass and dies sitting around for a decade at one time and a lot of fond memories of a lovely custom made Argentine Mauser I had with a classic Phil Fischer stock.
As far as the cheap whores and crack, I never tried crack and traveled with a box of Trojan Magnum XL’s for the cheap whores, but is that what you meant? 😛

that is correct I dont know how many Guns Ive bought becuase I had a 1/2 dozen tins of pellets in that cal or a few boxes of bullets or a bag of brass and a pound of powder! damn guns are worse than cheap whores and crack
It is mind boggling how a few extra tins of pellets for a orphan caliber, can cost us close to a grand for a new rifle and scope.

im thinking of a .22 like yours in the future to fill my .22 gap i have alot of pellets but no gun LOL nice guns for sure Im loving mine
Recently got a s200 .22 hunter 10 shot with the red lam stock from PA. So far im happy with her. Cycles great, trigger seems fine to me. I’ve killed 28 starlings, 13 grackles, and 2 pigeons since I got it a month ago. PA claimed 20 ft lbs with there model mines not running quite that hot but I got it for pest birds, and 16-20 ft lbs is plenty. Someone told me that the gun will shoot a little harder after its broke in but im skeptical.Never heard anything negative about a s200. I believe a guy in U.K came in 9th in the international postal benchrest match this year or maybe it was last year. They seem to be popular in Europe. I really like the short length and the stock fits me perfectly.
Love mine. You ‘can’ adjust power a little bit on them. I have mine running at around 14fpe for a good solid 50 shots. Very accurate.
The bolt and trigger leave a bit to be desired, but Rowan Engineering can fix you up for a price if it’s an issue. Hasnt been for me just yet, but perhaps one day.
Very accurate and well regarded rifle. Easily as accurate as any other rifle out there.
I have one! It’s a nice lil plinker! I have taken a few squirrels with it. She is fully stock. I didn’t even clean the barrel. Haven’t had one issue. I have been shooting JSB exact 8.44gr. The red and white label. I fill to 200 bar and get 40 shots over 750-780-750. I got it cheap when they came out! Probably one my best air gun buys. It is an Air Arms! I have been thinking about getting the magazine for it. It does match heads at 10 yards all day!!!
well it was second grade roach lol yes the shoebox changed me! this winter is killing me its snowing out right now and it is 43 degrees….. now for the s200 i think it will work since even with casting ammo i need a low power gun for this purpose. plus it will be a good trainer for my 5 and 6 year old boys. ill get a spare stock and cut a short LOP for them and the regular stock for me
I am very happy with my S200 for what it is, a low power (11ft-lb) gun.
Mine is out of the box stock and shoots the JSB 10.3 at 691fps (10.9 ft-lb) average. The JSB/AA 8.4 do 768 fps (11.0 ft-lb), which are the most accurate out of my gun.
The S200 is not as pellet fussy as my other PCPs. Out to about 25 yards, it is the most accurate out of the herd.
You will like the s200 for a light weight popper. :4:

I am also going to buy a Shoebox Freedom 8 as soon as they are available again so I dont have to worry about running out of air.
