Looking for IR flashlight/gunlight for Sony NV combo
Hey guys, looking for an IR flashlight/gunlight that i can use with with my Sony NV camcorder for nighttime recording. Any advice is welcome.

I got the same one, just has 5x 3w led ir emitters. Thx for the tip on the batteries Hoot.
It’s a $30 Ultra-fire, and I’ve had good luck with their products, as long as I got one with the one mode on/off switch. Every five mode switch I had eventually failed, as did the OEM batteries. I thought the light was defective, but it was battery failure each time. The cheap ones simply quit working sometimes.
Be aware an OEM battery is usually 3500 mAH, or less. But you can buy four of them, rechargable, from Ebay for $10 that are 5000 mAH, and much better in quality, usage time, and recharge just fine.

Thanks for the offer Hoot, but I ordered a 15W IR light just last week. What kind of light do you have? Asking just in case mine doesn’t work with my camcorder.
I have a new unused 5 watt 940nm AA cell tactical light that is available.
The question is whether your setup can see this frequency?
