Installed maddog ultima short full stock….q on safety..
When istalling my new maddog stock…I found the safety falling out due to the spring tension and I could not get it to work right so I removed it. It is the earliest release version of the saftety and trigger setup. The rifle fires perfect and the bolt stays cocked. Is it okay to remove the crappy AF safety… I can decock the gun easily with no problems and now have one less step to do to fire the gun. I found the safety on this gun kind of in the way. BTW the maddog stock really makes this gun a comfy shooter especially freehand. Groups have also been a tad better with no flyers. 😎

The original safety can become unsafe at any time.
We have had many people report their gun firing when that wire safety is released….
I had it happen and it is so dangerous.
Just remove the wire and look at the schematics in the quick reference section and remove the safety bar as well by removing the 2 pins (Be sure to push them out by pushing on the narrower end)..
Once the safety parts are removed insert the pins and close everything up.
Now you just cock and un-cock the gun as needed.
The safety is actually the most unsafe feature on that gun.
