Question about cutting a scope rail off…
Hi there guys! Have not been posting here or anywhere in a while due to work load I had.
Have a question about cutting a scope rail off and putting tri-tail on to convert the gun to side cocking configuration. What I am interested in is if you do this will this worsen or help fix the frame flex?
What is your guys experience who done this before?
Thank you very much.

Just be sure to have it milled flat. I had the machinist here at work finish mine.
When Y sent me this frame, he had only sawed the rail off and filed down the edges a bit. It was nowhere near flat enough to mount the rail.
Its a fun rifle to shoot with a red-dot on it. Very light, compact, and a quick shooter on moving targets. I should probably fill the gap between the frame and rail a bit, but not really necessary IMO.
