Swfa ss 3-15×42 FFP
Anyone have a chance to look through one of these yet? Is it worth the $700 as a airgun scope or would something different be better in that price range? I like that it goes from 6m-infinity and it’s FFP. Any thoughts or opinions are welcome.

Leupold low rings in the second pic.
For some reason I ordered Burris Signature Zee lows the first time around and they were not even usable.
The Burris Signature Zee rings fixed my issues of not having enough adjustment to use my cross hairs.
I put the +10 insert in front and -10 in back and nirvana.
FVA what height are the rings in the second pic? They look really low…Did you have any problems sighting in with the canted rail and extra Burris rings?
Your mediums look about like my Burris extra highs.
Medium rings (15mm Saddle Height) is what I’m using on SS 12×42. You can’t go wrong with SWFA they are great scope.
Go with the extra highs.
Lows won’t even work.
Much easier to aquire the cross hairs,IMO.
I did and am glad I did so.
My original rings got me shooting but at a fair bit of discomfort to get square behind them.
Sweet.. Thanks for the replies. Looks like I’ll be ordering one with some Burris signature zee rings on Monday then. It’s going on a edgun standard .25 and I’m hoping high scope rings will work out. I got recommended high rings so if anyone feels a different size is better feel free to chime in.
Not that FFP but I love my SFP mil/mil 10x fixed…Based on their reputation I would bet it is well worth 700.00 (especially considering FFP).
I have never had one of the Swat scopes, I am a Leupold fan, but I have really though about buying a Swat at times. I think it would be a dandy scope.

I really like swfa scopes. I might try out the new scope.. I wish I did not sell my 10x scopes.
