Q:

$118 scrap metal

I had made a mistake and bought a shroud from a company who shall remain nameless it ended up scratching the hell out of my barrel and then when I went to take the shroud off to create a video on how to install them the whole damn thing locked together ( shroud and bushing) I contacted them and in a round about way they told me that it was scrap because it was galled or basically welded together 🙁 well I guess you live and you learn. If it’s cheap it’ll probably be scrap in no time

Ha ha my shroud is on its way back looks like as though my idiot ass (my words not theirs) cross threaded it and that’s why I’m not allowed nice things lol

Thanks RL airgun supply 😀

I would be all for flipping some cars, I need to hear the 338 go bang sometime soon.

Sounds to me like Randy is being very stand up! 😉

Well Done Randy! 😀

Now about the car flips———— 😯 WooHoo!!! 😛

Although in hindsight (which is always a motherfather 😉 ) I should have waited longer for more responses before I vented but like I said hindsight is a motherfather

That’s why I never said the name I just wanted to vent on the subject. Even if they would have told me “too bad about your shroud issue” I would still buy from them and will continue into the future.

Randy is a good shit, he will take care of you. I’ve been happy with my dealings and will buy again. 🙂

Crazy
That was a great reply.
For all that have not figured out who’s shroud it was it is mine (RL Airgun Supply).
The threads are very fine on the barrel bushing and the shroud so crazy got them off a bit or we had them off and we did not catch the issue before shipping. We really do try to make every effort possible to make sure our items go out as they should. We have asked Crazy to send them back and we will either fix the issue or replace the parts. I am glad he didn’t throw us under the bus all they would have had left of me would be my clothes after it squeezed all the sh_t out of me. 😆
Thanks guys
Randy

Hell, you can’t get more up front or honest than that.
Good stuff. 😎

Stuff happens

Stuff gets taken care of.

That is how it works with the good members in the airgun community.

Next time I’ll put in some explosions and some car flips 👿 If it wasn’t for the fact that they were willing to help I would have thrown them under the bus

That has to be some of the most useless info ever posted here! This is the “TAG”. You either tell the story, or you don’t.

There is no Half Ass. 👿

Why are you telling us about it if you’re not going to tell us the company that sold it to you??

The reason I told everyone isn’t so much as a “l hate so and so company” it was more of a be careful of what you purchase, luckily for me they are going to try to fix the issue.

Try putting it in the freezer for a few hours.

No worries now I’ve spoken to the company and they said that if I send it to them that they will attempt to fix it for me but thank you anyways and appreciate the help 😀
