Lelya + Viper Connect, medium or high scope mounts?
Hi all,
I am about to place an order for a Viper Connect from MTC (30mm 3-12X32) and wonder whether I should go for a set of medium or high scope mounts?
The scope mounts Im planning to purchase are the Leupold “Quick Release Weaver Rings 30mm” http://www.opticsplanet.com/leupold-quick-release-weaver-style-qrw-rings.html
Problem is, I cant find any information on the exact dimensions of the scope and the same goes for the mounts… so no way of calculating clearance.
I know that at least one member had this configuration (connect + lelya) and I would really appreciate some input from you + anyone else.

No store in the UK will sell outside of the UK… some stupid law for above 4x scopes I think. I asked a friend of mine working in the UK to buy it for me and have it sent over.
MTC might have dealers in the US, I really dont know.

Yes, I’ve heard quite a few good things about this scope and I’m aware of the short eye relief… that’s the reason I’m going for this scope for the very compact lelya.
I ordered medium rings, hope they will be just fine…

Sorry – IDK about the Lelya and those mounts but i do know that scope. You´ll be pleased with its optics and function but remember – it´s named “Connect” since the eye relief is about an 1/4 ” 
So don´t try it on your magnum powder burner or you´ll be sorry. 😯

Yep – there´s this weird law about any scope over 4x. However – there are dealers who can ,and will, go around this with some simple tricks ; They send those scopes from a warehouse in Holland,Germany or another EU country. Also – you can order one thru any European dealer outside the UK and there are no such laws to hinder any export to US or anywhere else for that matter.
