Q:

Cricket .25 Velocity and adjustment

I’ve got the Cricket .25 broken in a bit and am about to check velocity. To those that have investigated more closely, what is the ideal velocity for the .25’s– 890 fps, (same as .22’s), or different? Also, assuming it’s only off a bit, HST adjuster is the two pin hole screw visible at the breech, yes? I’d rather not monkey with the reg if it’s close.

Right now, it’s screaming accurate, nipping off Iris blossoms on the far edge of our pond about 80 yards out!

😯 Dam Hooters! That’s daisey pumper ranges! 😆 No wonder that Benji Pellet is still working for ya.

Knife

My .25 Cricket is at 880 fps, with 27.8gr pellets, and one ragged hole accurate, with a bench rest, out beyond any distance I would normally shoot. (33 meters)

I nailed a flower bed bandit rabbit this morning, and the pellet impact sounded like a heavyweight boxer landing a solid body blow.

If it’s screaming accurate, why not just leave it as it is?
The only reason for tinkering with it would be if you chrony it and speed is way below 890 fps or whatever is considered optimal.
