Is the valve in the 20 cal tank the same as the 22. I understand the 177 has a different valve to prevent tank dump. Thanks

I tried the Benjies in both the cylindrical and diablo in the .20 bbl, and it shot like a shot gun. 🙁 The Crossman Box and Jsb’s shot very well! 😀
I used to shoot pins with the plastic ends at 40 yards with .20 JSBs.
I only tried Benjis in my .25 cal barrel, and they shoot better than ANY other pellet for me in that caliber.
However the .20 Benji stuff was made for pumpers (Sheridans and the like), and they fit them.
But I’ve yet to see them outshoot JSB even in my pumper.
Did you ever try Benjy’s, Riff ? I tried them and they were the lest accurate and smaller in my gun they fell out if I pointed the gun up so will not reccomend, the gun we are talking about was mine and I really loved it, 24 inch barrel and it is shooting presently Eun Jins, 23 grn. at high 930s with a starting pressure of 2000psi. with the power-wheel on 0. I shot a group the size of a dime with the EJ’s at 50yrds once the only gun I ever seen shoot EJ’s well GOOD!!!
The gun in my sig pic is currently running a 12″ .20 cal barrel, and it uses my Condor valve.
The hammer is a custom 75 gram that I made from a bronze bushing from ACE hardware.
I just turn the PW down to 0, then shoot over chrony adjusting upwards til I hit 920fps. Ill get 30 or more shots at that level per fill, and it kills ground squirrels very easily, and starlings fear this rifle.
It is a VERY accurate barrel. I shoot hornets with it in the warmer months.
This barrel likes all pellets Ive shot thru it, but the best tend to be the JSB (of course).
I know you were talking about a heavier hammer, the Talon tank can take a pounding, but I have a heavy hammer and a strong spring on my .25 and the Talon tank only will put so much air out and I don’t use it with that much force I am afraid I would bend the valve stem, but yours is stock hammer and spring and using your Talon tank will just slow it down some and even it out. It may just be the ticket for your smaller pellets, those big Eun Jins use the Hi-Flow tank.
Nothing wrong with being happy with what you have ! there are some people who think speed and ftlbs are the most important thing in an air gun . glad to hear you are happy with your new pcp .If I am not mistaken I think condor tank is a hi flo tank . I know you can use the condor tank with different condor calibers .i think the talon ss uses a less power of tank so if you use it the performance might not be there . The tank is no good with the one you got with condor gun ? You can call Air Force and ask them about the tank from the talon SS and if it will work in the condor gun . Good luck !
I just bought a used 20cal condor at a very reasonable price. It shoots a little over 1000fps with the pw @1-14 on my chrony so speed isn’t a problem. It is the most accurate AF barrel I have used. I was just wondering what would happen if I used the tank on my talon ss.
if you are looking at getting the .20 cal remember it has less fps than the .22 which are heavier but are faster than the .20 cal in the air force rifles because the skirt on the .20 cal pellet is smaller resulting in loss of fps and loss of air around skirt of pellet . look at the fps on the .20, .22 , and you will see the .20 is slower in fps than the .22. also it is difficult to come across .20 cal pellets.
On my 2013 Condor the hiflo tank say’s for 20, 22 and 25 calibers.
