Q:

Cricket With ATN PS-22

Attached to the side of scoope is a laser ir good up to 200 meters.

Anyone know a good laser pointer with invisible beam that will show in the gen2 nv?

The ir torch was tested yesterday and it is really good! Up to 200 meters the light is impressing!

My friend,
Your setup is very nice. May I ask what brand of laser illuminator, with 3 power settings, you are using? That three power setting change would be most useful for different ranges.

As a poor American capitalist running dog, I am restricted to using a Gen 1 ATN MK 410, which I have found to be quite sufficient to aim and shoot a. 25 Cricket slug into the innards of whatever roams my yard at night. Usually possum, raccoons, and armadillos. Sometimes we get coyotes, lots of deer, and black bears in the Fall. I avoid shooting the deer and bear, but the coyotes are dead meat whenever they get close enough!

I’m curious, what do you shoot at night where you live?

My friend, Sir Ville, says he hunts with a hound he called a ” Fan i det mesta äter hund “! I am not familiar with this breed. Are they popular in the Scandinavian countries? Are they expensive?

I think i have been fooled…it is not à laser ir i guess…..

Linkan, I didn’t get your email please email me again about the NS 50. My email is donhambrick@gmail.com or tabascodon@gmail.com. I checked again none of the pms I’ve tried to send have gone out. Apparently I’m just to feeble minded to figure out the pm thing. I’d like to blame it on the pain meds these hospice folks are giving me, but if I’m gonna be honest I think I’m just getting senile. I can feel it slipping up on me more and more. But with just a Lil help I can still shoot and I intend to shoot my Talon Tunes AAA Condor every day for the time I have left. Tony built me such a super rifle I have a reason to get out of bed every day now. Tony is as good as they come. One of the finest men I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Enough rambling, please email me I’m interested in that NS 50. Thanks, tabascodon

ATN Gen 2+ is currently using the MK450 which is an 850nM wavelength illuminator. (not a laser!)

The ATN MK450 is 450mW in power, about 1/2watt, good for about 30 to 50 yards, depending on how open the terrain is. I purchased a full 5 Watt, 850nM, UltraFire IR illuminator, from Ebay, and achieved a much better field of vision and distance, without “washout” from too much light.

If you want a laser, be certain it’s 850nM wavelength. I assume you are wanting to shoot long distance, as a laser at close range would washout your image

Good luck!
