Well I went and ordered a new Cricket.

It’s a 177 Standard synthetic and should be here in the next day or so!!! 😀
I bought it to fill the gap while I have a custom rail machined for the EdGun. There is too much built in drop for what I want to do, i’m hoping that if I get a new rail made I can use it for field target. I imagine Ed uses the same rail on the 25 as the 17 and for the 25 it’s probably perfect, for 177 with my FT scope I am still two mildots over my poi at 30 yards with the scope at full turn.
The Cricket should be good to go out of the box.
And I can retrofit a 24″ barrel to the Cricket if I want, the EdGun doesn’t allow swapping barrels.
The word is this one is SUPER accurate! 😮
I have some range time this weekend so i’ll get to give it a spin!!! 😉
