Atlas clone mod- tilt easily attained

Not sure if this will work for you GB guys as Zocos pic doesnt look to have a ball and socket like mine but its a super simple fix and works very well.
Disassemble head and get to ball cup. It’s to tall for ball to pivot in so it needs to be sanded down to almost half it’s height so ball has room to move.
Ball cup washer will be flush when installed back into base and good portion of ball will be visible.
Simply reassemble, tighten down and tilt will work very well without flopping around.

Good info! I need to check how mine (a GB unit) works but i don´t actually have any problems with its canting. Everything can be made to work better though so keep the knock-off improvement info coming guys. :7:

Very sturdy mounts for a 30mm scope. GB actually has loads of good mounts so if someone is on a market for a pair then take a look at them.
