using superglue inside air bottle
hi, could anyone confirm if its safe to use superglue inside of air bottle please, not sure if its safe to use under pressure? i.e does it explode when compressed with air as oil does?

No it is not.
We had a member here a few years back making valves and used super glue on his seats.
Damn things caught on fire from the pressure.
My question is, what are you glueing inside your air bottle?

thanks wok, have a custom valve seat that was made of aluminium with recess cut out for a rubber oring but when valve opens pressure that rushes through the hole is ripping oring out of seat and trying to ram it through the hole in stem, was going to superglue it in recess but if its a no-no will remake valve seat in delrin or ptfe, thanks for the heads up about superglue, if in doubt ask the experts is always best course of action,
