DIY smart phone scope mount
Some pvc, screw in endcap, few screws, taps, hole saw, little bit of rubber to protect the scope, black paint, and my otter case :(. I had everything kicking around in the garage.
The focus was off a little but you get the idea. This is a small propane tank at 100 yards. It’s very clear in person.
This is the standing view of the target. If you look in the center of the screen across the stream you can see the white target. If you click on the picture you may be able to zoom in?

The pvc pipe threaded end cap that the case is screwed too needed to be drilled. I could have used a reducer that already had a hole, however I did not want to make a trip to the hardware store. 😀 So, I just drilled out one that I had kicking around. Actually if you are thinking of making one, take a real good look at your cellphone case, around the camera portion. If you do decide to use a reducer make sure you have enough material to screw to when alining the camera. I will post a picture to show what I mean. Another note… The threads needed to be sanded down to make a proper fit in the pipe. Depending on your eye relief, you will want that adjustable in and out for fine tuning. I have a screw that you may not be able to see at the 6 clock position, behind the case,that is used to hold the position of the fitting. Very easy to adjust.
