Talon P barrel swap question
I know one of the great things about the Af guns is the interchange ability. But I was recently told that you could not put a 12″ .22 barrel in a talon P. has any body tried this? I love the idea of a 50fpe pistol/carbine but in reality I don’t need that much fpe and co2 would be a great option as well. Can any body tell e if you can swap the barrels to a smaller caliber? I would love a talon P with Tony’s shroud in 22 in the neighborhood of 700-800 fps. Is it possible and if so what would be the best combination of tank ie P tanks with standard valve or at what? It would make a great back packing gun or one truck gun! Thanks in advance!

The Talon P is a Talon with a special high flow valve and a small tank. You can put a CO2 tank adapter/valve on it and use a .22 barrel with that. You could also use a standard valve/tank and a .22 barrel. I am not sure, but you may also contact Tony of Talon Tunes and see if his multi port valve stem will work in the Talon P valve. If so, then you could likely swap out ports and barrels accordingly without swapping out your valve/tank.
If Tony says his multi port stem will work, please be sure to post such as I would be very interested in knowing such.
