Q:

one of my best shots ever—GRAPHIC

I went looking for some groundhogs at my favorite farm but they didn’t coopereate on that day. A couple of crows landed about a hundred yards away so I decided to try for one of them. One flew off but the the other one stayed long enough for me to get a laser reading on him and get a shot off. I lasered him at 93 yards and my third dot is set at 92 so I was pretty confident of the shot. I saw the little silver streak go thru the air and hit him dead center of the upper chest and he just flipped over on his back and layed still. Man I can’t believe the power of this .25 when it hits something. It is just awesome. Can’t wait for squirrel season next month..
The 25.4 JSB went thru his chest and out the right upper wing joint and kept on going. At that time my gun was a little hotter than it is now and was shoting those pellets in the high 990’s. I have since turned it down to the high 800-low 900’s and get more shots, more accurately and quieter.

nice shot. My PB is 86 yards for a squirrel.

pics are not as graphic as i was hoping for.

Those are some really nice and clear pics.

Great shooting too. The 25 is just such a damned awesome hunting caliber and no matter how much the 22 and 177 lovers tell ya “DEAD is DEAD”, those 2 calibers in a hunting situation just don’t have what the 25 has. maybe its mental………MAYBE, its REAL…..lol!

Congrats

Randy 68 when that glued rubber washer comes off , just take a similar rubber washer or heavy oring the same size as your hammer is around and slip off the rubber cap off your hammer, and put the rubber oring under the rubber hammer cap. it wont come off and it makes a huge difference.

No major mods or boughten stuff yet. I made my own hammer slap mod by gluing a thin rubber washer on the front of the breech- works great so far. I removed the safety toggle and that’s about it. I did add Adams Wokbutt. You probably saw my other posts on my tune etc.
Love the gun…

Sweet Shooting. I have a Condor .25 2013 model not an SS standard 24″ barrel. My first AF gun and I love to shoot it. Wish I had some where to do some long range shooting myself. I have almost 20 yards (55 feet in the back yard.) But nice call. And yes our guns are incredible instruments. You have any mods on yours?

I too started off with a Sheridan when I was a Kid. The .25 is t a .22 what a .22 is to a .177. Un-Real!

Now that I have been able to step over to the .257 in the AF plat form, Holy Bat-Crapman! 😯 😈

I need to find an AF frame to put my .25 bbl. in. Seems I don’t want to shoot tree rats and Asiatic doves out of trees around here. The .257 is just too heavy a bullet and far too long ranged for that. It would be like firing a mortar at my neighbors properties. 😳

Knife

Its unreal connecting at long range isn’t it.These air force rifles are great , when i first bought my condor in .22 , i had only shot .177 guns for the most part, well Sheridan 20. but the condor killing power in 22 was amazing,i was making devastating hits out to 90 , 100 yards,

I can only imagine what the 25 is all about.

Great shooting

I’ll tell you what, I have owned a lot of airguns from $50 to over $2200 and this Condor SS .25 has to be of my all time favorites. πŸ˜€
And this is my fourth Air force gun.
Since I am a hunter this .25 is just the ticket.
I have shot groundhogs, coons, crows etc with .177 and .22 but .25 has moved to the top of my hunting pellet list.

Got’ta Love a .25! 😈 πŸ˜€ :8:

KnifeMaker

Nice shot for 92 yards. .25 does better than .22 for this long rang.

Nice shootin’.
Reaffirms you don’t need a $1800 gun to make contact at 100 yards. πŸ˜‰

The shots only get better from here.
