Q:

Shot a few groups with my .25 Condor SS

at 50 yards. Here is a pic of seven consecutive 5 shot groups at 50 yards with my Condor SS .25. The reason I cut them out is I had a bunch of other holes in the target backer from my .357 of which you can see on the brown cardboard target.
I did shoot one group prior that wasn’t so good but I had just got done shooting 60 rounds thru my Marlin .357 lever action and it took me a little bit to settle in and get used to the trigger. I had two shots go off before I was ready as the trigger on my Condor is much lighter than the Marlin. This Condor is settling in pretty nice after about 700-800 rounds, plus I started lubing my pellets and I think that helped too. There was a very light breeze from left to right but it didn’t seem to affect my shooting too much. Overall I am very happy with this Condor and I see it being my main hunting gun this fall when squirrel season opens.
I get 40 plus shots at 880-904 fps on a 2800 fill and powerwheel at 8-13. It is also VERY quiet. The only mods that I have done are adding an oring to the tophat, gluing a rubber washer to the breech and removing the safety toggle so I can cock and decock my gun anytime. Plus I added Adams Wokbutt.

Nice groupings!!

Nice looking groups Randy.
My experience is backwards from yours. My rifle prefers Benjimans but only barely. A very close 2nd is JSB and then Kodiaks.
All 3 will print groups like you are showing, but the Benjis are pretty consistent for me.

My barrel had the choke removed. I cut it off and recrowned it trying to get EunJins to shoot acceptably. They shoot ok, but not what I wanted. The Benji pellets turned out to love losing the choke as well, but I dont recommend taking that road unless you have another barrel to try it with cuz yours is shooting pretty damned good right now. 😎

If you get the WOK parts you mentioned, you wont be disappointed. I have both and they do wonders for consistency.

Ignore my sig pic, thats not the Condor Im talking about. 😉

Wow, I can’t believe I left that part out. I am shooting the JSB 25.4. The Kodiaks were a no go and the Benjamins were so-so, shooting groups a little bigger but I had fliers every now and then. There are no fliers with the JSB’s.

Adam, as funds become available I will be getting a WokGuard from you and maybe a trigger shoe.

Nice shooting. What type of pellets are you using?
