sony camcorder for night vision recording

HI im kinda a new member. I have been reading a lot, trying to learn about my rifle by reading questions other have asked. i have been a member for a couple of years but this is my first post. I bought my first from Tony, Loaded Talon SS .22 cal with an extra tank and shroud, and a Hawke 6×24 scope. It takes care of the rats, squirrels and crows. Now I have an interest in night vision, shooting and recording. I have watched many you tube videos and the Sony camcorder DCR-SR 45 is what several are using with good results. I have a Pulsar 940 illuminator but im not sure if this will work . Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
