Q:

K baffles

Is there anyone on the forum that makes and sells k-baffles for a diy moderator? Or am I stuck with the sound loc kit? Right now Im just using washers spaced apart but Im sure things could be quieter with decent baffles.
Thanks

Kinda depends. The baffels in the new Condor are K’s, but are made of a polymer. So—–

I am told they wrok fairly well. But I rember either Sub-Sonic or get the blue jay used them for a while, and came up with somthing better. 😉

K baffels illegal??

Only if you do not have the proper paper work. You can have them but you need to pay the tax or license to make them.

K baffels illegal??? Thank God my Wife doesn’t use hair curlers! (Such as in the HW Air Gun Suppressors/ 😯 Next thing you know, you won’t be able to buy washers with the nuts and bolts! 👿

Well, I remember the Song! 😆

Reflex works good

Ok so if the K is not being used, what are the preferred baffles for the ldc/moderators being used?

Correct me if I’m wrong but, wouldn’t the better option be M baffles? (Not sure if you could get in trouble for those either)

Furthermore K-baffles don’t particularly perform that well on an air gun.

K baffles are considered part of a silencer and a firearm by the BATF.

How Airforce is getting around that I do not know. But even having a K baffle in your possession without the proper paperwork could land you in trouble.
