Q:

talon ss sugestions

Ok i went from a gamo to rws. The rws gave me trouble and I sent it back. While waiting I have gained more interest in a talonss possibly in 177 and then jumping to 22 later. I don’t have alot of cash so I was thinking of the co2 version while I save up for a nice tank. I mostly shoot birds right now with my gamo. Is co2 ok at 40yds for starling size birds? I will do more searching but I am always open to other ideas. Does anyone use those ninja air tanks? Thanks for any help.

I’ll second the wokguard and throw in a talon tunes top hat and if you don’t have a spin loc tank then get a tank adapter from tony as well but then save up your money for the extra toys

Shoot alot and save your money awhile.

First two I would add, and have them on my guns, are the Wok Guard, and Trigger shoe. After that, the sky’s the limit…

Thanks again. I went and ordered an air venturi 90ci @ 4500psi with a fill station. The co2 adapter was $100 and the tank and fill station was $200 more. I really wanted to be able to use hpa instead of co2. Anyone looking what would you add from talon tunes for a 177 caliber. Just the first 2 “must haves” I hope to get in the next couple of months.

I have used a 13 cu.in. Ninja tank, a 13 cu.in regulated tank at 1400 PSI, and one at 1600 PSI, all worked quite well. I would suggest something more along the line of a 22 cu.in tank for a bit more volume, and length, but with the CO2 adapter the 13’s work great. Extremely consistent with a regulated tank, and not affected by winter temps below 40-45 degrees like CO2 can be.

Thank you walkon. I look forward to some of your up grades along with talon tunes down the road.

Co2 is fine for that.

Actually the Talon SS on CO2 is one of the best CO2 rifles out there. It is quiet and you will get a ton of shots.
