please help, need advice on leak
My cricket has a nagging leak. I have replaced the 23mm seal a few times up at the front of the air tube just behind the pressure gauge.I must be doing something wrong because sometimes it leaks out the weep hole right away, and sometimes it doesn’t for a few days. Or, sometimes it doesn’t leak for a week, then starts. I must be doing something wrong.
Could it be the indexing of the pressure gauge as you’re screwing it back into the air tube? How do you guys index the gauge during the assembly? I have been lubricating the seal with diverse silicon upon reassembly. Is this the right thing to do? Thanks!

Tighten down cap till it stop then back it out till you can fit the fill probe normally. That gauge cap assembly is like free floating on the end of the air cylinder, so you can positions the fill hole in any angle for ease of use, its not designed to be metal to metal tightened. if you do the fill hole will disappear!
