Q:

Maddog/RL Airguns Marauder Bullpup

They are produced and selling. Made right here in the U.S. Your choice of stock/linkage/scope mount kit, or full blown bullpup Marauder, in your choice of calibers .17 .22 or .25!!!

Take a look at mine…

Double boxed, carefully wrapped.

Full Frontal was never so good. The air gauge is easily readible…

A look at the other side…

Serious solid metal trigger and safety…

Plenty of room to operate the safety lever…

If you can operate a hex wrench, you can put the whole kit on yourself in short order. Attach the scope rail, slide on the trigger/safety, one bolt stock attachment…

The wood and metal fit is cut to perfection.

From another angle.

A view of the linkage. Nothing cheap or bent about this setup. The OEM trigger and safety are simple slide-on, tighten the hex screw…

Front-side linkage trigger and safety assembly. Solid, smooth as silk…

Did I say assembly was easy? Slide on, turn hex wrench…

The Weaver/Picatinny rail is obviously CNC material, and again the fit is perfection…

Tolerances are tight tight tight…

This speaks for itself…

How heavy is it? How about 8 lbs. I can easily hold it at arm’s length and take a picture…yes, it’s LIGHT!

Not all that tall either…

That little snout is handy for the bipod group…

The other side…

That’s right…2.5″ wide…

So, to wrap it up, Maddog and Randy at R&L decided to take a leap of faith and provide what everyone, myself included, has wanted for a LONG time, an MPUP!

It’s late and tomorrow I’m going to put my scope on it and take a few shots. I’ve already played with the trigger/safety. I’ll say it here and now, it’s smoother than the original equipment!

Because I was first on the list…that’s how I got mine. I’ve been whining and begging for a bullpup Marauder for two years. Here’s where: http://www.rlairgunsupply.com/custom-shop/mdrl-marauder-bullpup/

More later….

I agree Hoot. Mrod 25 is excellent value/performance and cost to convert to pup is still a good deal.
Speaking of assholes. I understand your girl Pelosi has a vid out of you bleaching hers to a nice shade of pink 😳

quote charlie101:

Mrod is Mrod. It’s not LW barrel, not regulated and poor valve. It cannot ever compare with ED.

Damn Charlie… You need to get laid, or take a strong laxative, or something!

A $450 factory gun will never compare to a. Edgun, on that I agree. Most of us Edgun owners believe there are no $2000 pcp’s that match Ed’s guns.

Personally, I think the. 25 Mrod is the best pcp buy in the world for that price. The OEM barrel delivers superb performance for that particular rifle.

However, opinions are like assholes on this forum, and we have plenty of both (myself included!)

Nice work with those clevises. I actually bought some for my Dynamax bullpup project but at the end I went with M4 rod and self made forks. I also think it looks much better than Edguns 😉

IMO regulators are overrated. They use up space from air and require huge expansion chambers if you tune them for power. With proper tune you can get very flat curves with normal self regulating valves while keeping things simple. I’m actually going to remove the regulator from my D-max and go for a long air tube + self regulating valve.

I thought those .25 Green mountain barrels in Mrods were pretty good?

Mrod is Mrod. It’s not LW barrel, not regulated and poor valve. It cannot ever compare with ED.

Looks real nice! All we needs now is a drop in smooth twist barrel and an air efficient regulator. Then it can competes with all these dog, insect and cat. I mean bullpups.

Good looking stock.
