Q:

New Edgun shooting slow, slow slow…but happy happy happy

Ok my new edgun just got in from Tony and I was amazed by the accuracy quietness and what a joy to shoot! I really wasn’t that concerned with the velocity since I had walked the trajectory out from 17 yards to 75 yards honestly a mildot difference the entire wy I was happy. Pesting from 40-80 yards was too easy I couldn’t miss! I wanted to plot my info into chairgun and see my farther hold points… Imagine my surprise when my readings were at 746!!!! Four shots in a row at this reading and the fifth jumped to 749. Wow consistent! But slow…. So a little tweaking and 925…a little less a very solid 915 ill stick there for now. Groups initially opened up slightly but I was holding loose and the additional air blast was disturbing my sloops follow threw. Corrected my self and back to one whole groups, seriously could hardly tell a hit because the whole didn’t expand! That was 20 yards. A couple spotter rounds at different distances and then a 72 yard head shot on a pigeon reload 43 yards head shot again! This time there was definitely more solid punch at the 175 fps jump! This thing seriously slings those 18 gr edgun pellets with authority! This thing is amazing, I,was initially a little upset that it was shooting so slow but it was an easy fix and the accuracy and power are definitely there. I couldn’t be happier!

Thanks all for the great info on this gun, and the other bull pups it has really gave me a lot to think about and helped me make my decision. I am happy happy happy!

Oh it’s worth it! The golden moment is amazing and worth the wait! I was really trying hard to decide between a cricket royal 400 air daystate mk4, I couldn’t be happier this is my first high end airgun and hopefully not the last but I couldn’t ask for any more than what I got. Just got done tinkering with the trigger some more and now it really is sweet! Nice short first smooth first stage firm second probably 2lbs crisp break and no over travel first shot after adjustment nice fruit stealing pest bird! Love it!!!

I’am still dreaming of that Golden moment.
