Matador 22 & 25 impact at 86 yds
Had fun shooting both my Matadors with my nephew over last few weekends.
Both long versions set at 885fps. JSB 18s and 25.4s.
Pulled out Iscope( mounted on 25) for a bit to show difference of FPE at impact at 86yds from each caliber doing same fps on 2″ spinner.
22 knocked spinner back to level. 25 spun it around a couple times.
We were laying prone with rfles about 18″ apart so you can also hear difference in modified shrouds.

I tried that. Couldn’t get it to stay glued in there. Plus it was very small print.
I was watching VarminHuntersTV today on youtube and one of the guy had the mil dot holdover inside his scope cap, I thought that was pretty slick.

Yes JSB 25.4.
I have BC at .033 on computer and at .034 on IPhone app. The two don’t seem to calculate exactly the same given all the same parameters. I have my scope height set at 2.25″ and that correlated well with my up close crossover points.
I based settings on 70*,35% humidity and 150ft elevation which is good middle ground parameters for me.
I verified my yardage impact groups to each mil based off my two rangefinders which are within 1yd of each other. Groups were averaged. Mind you this is off bipod and rear bag or shoulder supported so I have real hunting situation results with me behind trigger.
This list of yardage numbers has been modified in photoshop to more closely match my impact results which after playing with BC number was typically only off a yard or two as distance grows( which could be my range finders).
Mind you my fps is set off my particular chrony and verified as closely as possible to drop of pellet at various test distances.
All in all given everything Chairgun is within 1% of accuracy which is better than I can hold over distance.

You just move the imaginary 95yard+ shots to the top of the retical..to pick up a few more mildots and 1/2 dots to the bottom..great idea for long range shooting.
Iplugged some of the numbers into chairgun..and the outcome was just a little off.
So a couple of questions.

Whats your BC listed as, I have mine at .0330 ?
Scope height ?

I also had this question…eventually I managed to “zoom” in on a photograph of a scope wheel, and this is what I saw:
“too low” “still too low” “no..not quite yet” “almost there” “one more click”
Now, I can’t say everyone uses this system, but it did seem functional, and not overly technical in it’s application.

I think I like this idea! I never utilize the real-estate above my cross hairs. Not to mention this would make windage holds much easer at distances that you really need them! Thanks!
I use Chairgun to print up reticle chart. I then verify each mildot mark in the field before final print. Having chart on scope is quicker to reference in field than IPhone Chairgun app.
This is my 25 chart at 20x power. I used photoshop to add in reticle line to top mildot. Wish the scope actually had two reticles
now this always had me thinking…i know my rifle is sighted in to about 50yards…what do you write on the paper that you tape to your scope…i normally do my calculation working from my zero at 50 yards backwards for anything under 50yrds or over that. ‘

I have them on my mil-dots but you don’t need them with the SR Pro reticles.
