.30 Cricket With LW Barrel 1st impression
Got it yesterday and assembled today the LW barrel isn’t choke only light resistant the whole barrel length and its in stainless and polish, no oring in the barrel at the breech end. the probe has the oring to seal barrel/probe end. only tested using the whole air tube assembly with the reg and valve from the .30 cricket with the ST barrel. Had only 3 pellets to test 46.3gr. 820, 821, 819fps. going to see if I can increases the speed, don’t count on it 🙁 unless there is a larger head pellet aval. Anybody have .30 slugs I can try. for now I’m going to order some HC from Mr Hollowpoint and see what the speed and accuracy. Have 3 tins of pellets coming for accuracy testing, what’s up with .30 cal pellets — somebody buying and stocking up the JSB’s.

Like the aluminum end cap, to go with the stainless barrel. I’ll take a photo tomorrow with my .25 shroud with aluminum end cap on the .30 . this barrel is the same size as stock 16mm barrel so it will fit. My wife don’t even want to see my AG, ant-gun lady–to bad I’ll go shooting without her, man got to go shooting!

What do you think Ernest – with the polished stainless steel barrel will it look better with un-anodized NC shroud end caps or black ones? If something looks “funny” my wife will be all over me on it. 🙂 As it is I have the cats taste test my food.
Also, do the walnut cheek pieces still work – or can they be retrofitted? I really like it on my .22 Cricket but I noticed it absent from your photos. I guess barrel diameter is one issue.
With 19″ CF shroud 35.5″ AOL, same as the .30 cal with a ST barrel.

Sni; how long it will be with the silencer? it will exceeds the Bullpup length, isn’t it? I mean gun overall length?
So are you saying the LW barrel lead diameter is too large for the JSB pellets or the entire barrel?
btw – what brand/model gun vise/rest is that? (it looks like maybe something Sinclair and expensive)

Thanks. I emailed Steve to stay aluminum on the end caps with the stainless barrels. I don’t know if I am lucky or not. My wife went and got her conceal carry permit too last winter and outshot me the last time we went to the range. I sleep with one eye open. 😯
